Solar PV Panel Clean & System Health Check — Customer Feedback Competition

1. The Promoter
   This competition is promoted by Alternative Energy, 2 Dooish Road, Dromore, Northern Ireland, BT78 3AQ. Website: alternativeenergy.ie
2. Eligibility
   The competition is open to existing Alternative Energy customers aged 18 and over, residing in the Republic of Ireland. Employees of Alternative Energy, their immediate family members, and anyone professionally connected with the organisation of this competition are not eligible to enter.
3. How to Enter
   To enter, complete and submit the customer feedback survey as directed in the promotional email. One entry per customer. Entries submitted by any other means will not be accepted. Alternative Energy takes no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, or corrupted.
   By submitting your entry, you agree that Alternative Energy may use the feedback provided for marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to website content, social media, and printed materials. No personal data will be attributed to or published alongside any feedback used in this way.
4. Competition Period
   The competition opens on 1st July 2026 and closes at 23.59 on 30th September 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be valid.
5. The Prize
   One winner will receive a complimentary solar PV panel clean and full system health check carried out by the Alternative Energy team at the winner’s registered installation address. The prize has no cash alternative and is non-transferable.
6. The Draw
   The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries after the closing date. The draw will take place on or before 15th October 2026.
7. Winner Notification
   The winner will be notified by 30th October 2026 using the contact details provided at the time of entry. If the winner cannot be contacted, or fails to respond within 14 days of notification, Alternative Energy reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.
8. Arranging the Prize
   Following notification, Alternative Energy will contact the winner to arrange a mutually convenient date for the panel clean and health check to be carried out. While we cannot guarantee a specific date, the prize will be fulfilled within 12 months of the draw date. The prize is only redeemable at the address of the winner’s existing Alternative Energy installation.
9. Data Protection
   Personal data submitted as part of this competition will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and fulfilling the prize. Data will be handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Acts 1988–2018, as overseen by the Data Protection Commission (DPC) of Ireland, and in accordance with Alternative Energy’s Privacy Policy, available at alternativeenergy.ie. We will not share your data with third parties without your consent.
10. General
    Alternative Energy’s decision on all matters relating to the competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Alternative Energy reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw this competition at any time without notice. This competition is subject to the laws of the Republic of Ireland, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
