How to Qualify for the Grants

After You've Qualified for the Grant

You must have a post-work Building Energy Rating (BER) performed before your grant may be processed. You need to hire a BER assessor to achieve this.
As soon as your solar PV installation becomes operational, we will send the required documents and paperwork to the SEAI online. This is to certify that we, as a SEAI-registered solar PV installer, have installed your photovoltaic system and that it is operational.
Payment applications can be processed only when all the necessary paperwork has been uploaded. Also, your BER assessor should have completed and published the post-work BER. After this, payment typically takes around 4 to 6 weeks, plus additional time if an inspection is necessary.
